Pam Watts has been a competitive eventing rider for 23 years. She became interested in the sport in 1978 after watching the first World Championships held in the United States. This was held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.

Ever since, Pam has set her goals to compete internationally and has dedicated her life to the lifestyle the sport requires. Pam trained her first three advanced level horses on her own. She has been involved with numerous competitions on these horses. These included her first two international Three-day Events. She travels and competes all over the world. She has gone to England, Ireland and New Zealand and has participated in competitions in many of the 50 states including California and Texas.

With her goal set to compete in the next World Championships, Pam spends as much time as possible training. She has been coached by many of the best riders in the world including David and Karen O'Connor (silver medallists in the Atlanta Olympics 1996 and Sydney Olympics 2000) and Ian Stark (three time winner of Badminton - the toughest and most prestigious Three-day Event in the world). Pam trains in Florida every winter in preparation for the upcoming season.

Horses

Streetlife, also known as Woody, is a 13 year old Thoroughbred gelding imported from New Zealand. He is an extremely talented horse. New Zealand horses are very adept at the sport of Three-Day Eventing. Woody is exceptional at Dressage, very bold and fast in Cross-country and careful in Stadium Jumping. All these attributes set him apart from most other equine athletes.

Serengeti is also an import from New Zealand. He was very competitive in New Zealand at the International level. He is very athletic and obedient. This gorgeous black horse is the newest addition to the "team" and is already proving himself successful.

The Farm

Eagle Wing Farm is situated on 200 breathtaking acres of West Virginia rolling hills. Eagle Wing Farm offers the ultimate training for horse and rider. The farm has a 72x150 indoor riding arena, a 80x200 lighted outdoor arena, a show jumping area, cross country jumps (including a water complex) and loads of trails and hacking. There are two barns with board-fenced paddocks and an all weather lounging ring (round pen). It is a family atmosphere in a very peaceful setting with an emphasis on very correct basics of riding on happy horses.
